Treating children
A wide array of treatments for children enable us to correct jaw size, improper alignment, masticatory and pronunciation problems and improper tooth alignment at an early age. These interceptive treatments (also called phase one treatments) focus on jaw function and normal tooth eruption and take advantage of the fact that the jaws are still developing.
An interceptive orthodontic treatment may or may not be followed by treatment during adolescence (phase 2).
